No question the bands benefit position. I have however found them impossible to use if I ride alone. You need a very quiet stable horse to adjust them once in the saddle. If you have a helper on the ground they are fine.
I am a human and horse physio and have for years worked on rider balance and biomechanics to improve the way of goin for the horse. I have found that using the bands has assisted this greatly as the rider gets positive feedback as they are riding. It has also helped some of my crooked riders so thank you very much!
I love these bands! From the first time I put them on I got results, my aligned position created a clearer message to my horse and I got better canter strike offs, better balance in turns and I noticed after 3 consecutive rides the muscles I hadn't been engaging previously. Well worth the investment.

I've found then generally good, but the quick release buckle comes apart too easily. I realise why one is needed, but one that requires more force would be helpful

Very helpful to wear the banks when learning to keep the body aligned.
Bought them to help teach my daughter to feel her body better. She also has the steady hands gloves.
She wears them under instruction and her coach loves them too.

Ok, I’m an adult beginner and I’ve been struggling with position and my hands and so many things.
I’m not paid to say this. I bought the gloves with my own money. ONE RIDE. One ride and it changed everything for me. I noticed my horse’s transitions have been more seamless, I sit better, I’m so much more balanced in canter. It’s like how can a pair of gloves do all that? It’s amazing! I’m so glad I got these gloves and I can’t wait to keep improving and building! Already looking into other products!

These gloves have been very helpful. They have enabled me to discover exactly where my contact is going wrong. The differences can be subtle and these gloves Pic them up. This product is a really good investment in your riding.

Just started using the steady hands gloves. They are great with the quality of the gloves themselves being very good. Soft and comfortable to wear, and the release clip works well. They do not over restrict your hands but keep them in the right spot. My brain seemed to click in and keep my hands in a much better position. Yes I would be happy to recommend .
My hands are small and I would normally take a size small in a glove, and ordered a small and they fit nicely.

I didn’t know what to expect and just thought they would keep my hands still and together. But what i felt instead was a sudden activation of my core and my seat immediately improve. By having to rely less on my hands for balance my entire seat changed. My horse horse went into frame so nicely, and i definitely felt more aware of the rest of my body. I actually don’t believe it took me this long to get them! No i can’t school without them and recommend them to everyone!

This is a great product. Makes you check yourself if you ride a bit handsey or less still. My trainer is recommending this product for other students who have similar issues.
