I am in love with my gloves. They are great for improving my hand position.
I have used the bands three times so far and I love the way the bands help me to understand how I am sitting and where my weight is being used in the saddle. I feel a real difference already on my young warm blood in our flat work.
I have found the Steady Hands Riding Gloves to be useful in my lesson program. It causes my riders to be more aware of their hands and reduces the need to keep them out of the horse’s mouth. My only problem is that the gloves does not allow the rider to use the crop behind the leg where we teach to use the crop. In hunter and jumper training, the crop is much shorter and the crop hand must be brought back to make contact behind the leg. If this is done with the gloves, they would have to stop and reconnect the attachment snap, and disrupt the purpose for the action. Since we rarely use spurs and do not allow anyone below intermediate to use spurs, I can’t think of a good solution for this issue. They have had to use the crop on the shoulder, which to me is counterproductive and actually asks the horse to move his shoulder rather than back up the leg.
These gloves completely changed the way I ride! Magic! xx

Great tool for helping awareness in riders
I love these gloves! I can have very 'busy' hands and these gloves certainly make me very aware of what my hands are doing. Definitely a tool that I will continue to use in my training t keep me on track.
Helps you to keep your position and retrain your brain to use those muscles you should be using.
